Partners meeting and learning and Training activity in Plymouth, early February 2017. So intense, so rich, so inspiring for the work ahead of us.
From the 12-19 February, Plymouth and District Mind Association hosted 7 visitors from Austria, France and Italy for a meeting on how to embed mindful parenting into practice. The use of mindfulness in schools as a coping strategy for young people suffering from stress and anxiety was explored. As part of Plymouth and District Mind Association involvement in this project (EMP:PATH) we will be offering mindfulness courses to parents over the next few months. We will also be running our mums peer support group (Mums Connect) every week from 1.30-3pm at the Sage Cafe in Hyde Park.
