Zoe here! The workshop at Barnardo's was amazing. My life is so busy with 2 kids under 5 and a full time job.
I never see to have any clear headspace to think and relax. It has been like this for a long time and sometimes it feels like my brain is foggy. Donna ran us through a number of useful technique we can use to help calm our thoughts and some simple exercise we can also teach our children. So, the next day when my daughter was having a meltdown, I decided to try some of these exercises. She loved them, and thought they were a fun game. Now she tells me 'remember to breathe Mummy'. I'm interested in becoming a mindfulness practitioner now because I am interested in finding out more.
